Although wildlife, landscapes and travel photography were his first love and still what he prefers to do, these days he can be found photographing almost anything, from product shots and commercial work to abstract close-ups, portraiture and event photography. The only area he steadfastly refuses to get involved in is wedding photography…!
Recognised for his technical knowledge and approach to photography, David is often sought out by major photographic companies including Canon and SanDisk to provide a variety of services including training seminars, live presentation, technical expertise and photographic/video services.
David’s photography and writing has been widely published. Among others, he has written for:

He has also written technical and marketing material for both Canon and SanDisk. His photography has been published in all the above magazines as well as specialist publications such as Country Life and BBC Wildlife and the national press including The Times, The Telegraph, The Daily Mail, The Express and The Sun. He has also done his time as an event photographer, photographing some of the more eclectic and eccentric shows in the UK.
